The location is a little loud but the food is worth it if you’re interested in traditional foods in this region. I had the pork curry which was tasty, I love the spice and brown gravy it’s stewed in. Everyone was friendly and casual. There was no menu, but we asked for a few things we'd read about in the reviews. The star was the slow-roasted curry that just fell apart with the touch of a spoon. (The laab was sooo spicy!) Definitely come here for authentic northern Thai food. ((It was also pretty inexpensive, considering we got three entrees and two orders of sticky rice.))

(ต้นฉบับ) The reviews are true. The restaurant is located actually a 100 m before the Google geolocalisation, right after the McDonald's opposite Tha Pae gate. About 8 choices on the menu but all equally good. Talked with the owner, the recipes come down from generations of northern family cooks. I've visited Chiang Mai quite a bit and this is truly one of the best offering for northern Thai food. Was so good I decided to bring back some more for dinner tonight! Recommended.
