The Gurkha's Restaurant

I come here multiple times a year when I see a show at the Arts Theatre and every time I have enjoyed a very delicious meal! Every dish I have tried so far has been well above average, beautiful flavours and textures. The roti breads are perfectly cooked and there is a lot of variety on the menu, including plenty of non-chilli options. My only gripe is that the prices are also above average and the portion sizes for the price, I find, are quite small. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable, quiet and pleasant.

We came for the lunch specials which included a curry, a naan and a rice. While it isn't full size, its more than enough to fill you up. The curries themselves were exceptional, the meat was tender and the gravy was flavourful and rich. It's a fantastic lunch spot and I'm sure it would be just as amazing for dinner. Would recommend!
