Figs Cafe & Farmacy

Probably the cutest (can guys say that?) business in downtown Anderson. Where else can you buy some local goods AND be served food this good? Nowhere in Anderson that I know of. It’s a great little informal dining experience. We had a sandwich and hot dog (not your average hot dog). Both were great. I’ve been before and had the burger. Never been disappointed with the food. I have heard of beer flights at breweries and such, but I had never heard of ice cream flights. Brilliant idea, and yes please! Wife and I really enjoyed sharing the six flavor flight!

It's just a small local coffee shop, with beautiful young student working there... Don't expect something crazy good... But it's simple and nice. Ice cream 🍦 is delicious. Lot's of local products... Keep it simple and local. Add fresh local fruits to your ice cream. Thank you.☺️ Grilled chicken salad + small late $14.76

Absolutely wonderful little gem in downtown Anderson. They sell lots of local foods (I get my small batch artesian sauerkraut from here) like fresh butter, honey, soups, salads, dressings, sauces, pastries, cakes, and more. They also have a great coffee and ice cream selection. The owner was kind enough to bake my daughter a fresh cookie cake the morning of her birthday. Excellent customer service and sparkling clean storefront. Highly recommend anyone visiting!

I was astonished at the rudeness I encountered and deception. We are new to Anderson, we were walking the main stream getting more familiar with our new town. We had already had our coffee at another shop but were amazed at their chocolate covered strawberries. We purchased two... instead of giving us the ones we purchased, she gets two tiny ones out of the back! When I started to get a paper menu to go, she tells me I can't have it..... it is no more than a copy! AMAZING! I won't be back.

I have always enjoyed Figs, especially their sandwiches but more so their ice cream. Google said Figs was open till 6:00pm today (Saturday) and Figs menu/brochure says 8:00pm. Arrived at 5:15pm and you were “CLOSED”. There were two workers inside and that did not open the window. Please correct your hours online, on your brochure and your window! It’s frustrating to drive down there just for ice cream and you’re closed when you were supposed to be open.
