Voodoo

First off this is not a sit down and be waited on kinda place. It's the BBQ version of Fazolis. The food is moderately priced. Me and my wife's meal was under 30 bucks. She ordered the smoked chicken sandwich with no bun and a giant loaded potato. I ordered the 10 chicken wings (giant) with corn pudding and fries. All of it was great and fast. Not to mention after dinner you can go and play at the casino! Great place, will return.

Ate at the one on St. Charles in New Orleans, loved it. Very disappointed in Anderson. The sauce on the bread pudding was watered down. Ordered the 2 meat combo, only got brisket, no pork. When I questioned it was told it looked like the gave me a double portion of brisket, that's a half pound so what's the problem? Wont be going back unless it in New Orleans

The cashier (Heather S according to the receipt) was not pleasant, unhelpful, and just dreadful at customer service. Of course while we sat there waiting on our food we got to see what proper customer service was at the place next door (Caballo Loco Grill & Cantina.) I got chicken fingers (as I was not very hungry) and my wife got brisket with baked beans, cornbread, and corn pudding. The chicken was tough to bite into and the sauce it came with tasted of only garlic. Very potent garlic at that. You definitely would not want to go back to work from lunch break with that on your breath.The brisket they brought my wife was probably 60% fat. It had no taste of meat or seasoning, it merely tasted of fat. The baked beans were VERY sweet almost like a dessert. Lastly, the corn pudding looked like throw up in a bowl. You would have to be well hammered to enjoy the food. Now I am wondering if it is called VooDoo for my need to see a witch doctor in hopes of not getting food poisoning.

This might be a repeat I'm not sure if the first post got out or not. I love that video barbeque and grill I eat there often I'm a diamond club holder at Harrah's Caesars Casino I often get comped trackside buffet meals etc. Upon my order I realize that I was a dollar and $0.06 short very hot out very humid out when I asked if I could go outside to my party waiting in the car and get the dollar at 6 all the manager was to say I can't do nothing about that. Said nothing else says very professional not .this was so upsetting to me like I said before I get all kinds of comps from Caesar Harrah's trips cruises appliances money but I can't go get a dollar 600 I was leaving my things there at the cash register as well my phone my ID so I can go get it bad taste in my mouth I would think that VooDoo BBQ & grill would employ someone that had a little more professionalism in the way they treated their customers coming back to get my food I was pouring soaking wet with humidity thank you boo do I think I took a inches off before I ate your
