Beast & Butterflies Auckland

I’ve been in this restaurant for lunch. It was not crowed, maybe for dinner there are more people. It’s beautiful and quiet. Staff is nice and the service is quite fast. I took a ceviche, it was very savory (but not real Peruvian ceviche) and the fish of the day (Snapper) that was good. The dishes have a good presentation. Great variety of good wines.

Was not sure about this place as it's part of a mid tier hotel chain. It was a pleasant surprise for us. The food was amazing and the dining environment is super chill and welcoming. The service provided by our waitress is top notch and cannot find any fault with her. Food are all amazing and very well presented. The desert menu is tiny, but the quality is so good it's almost became the highlight of the entire dining experience. Recommended!!

It was the height of restaurant month and after nailing down close to 10 restaurants during that time, we settled to finish off the month at Beast and Butterflies. The service was impeccable. Well timed and very friendly. We were allowed to sit wherever since it was a bit quiet this evening which made for a nice ambience. The food here was amazing. I'm a veherant meat eater but despite this, I can safely say the snapper was the highlight. Super flavourful and decently sized. Will be back here soon!

Exceeded all expectations. IWe were greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived. Wegtan gave us the best service. The food, wow, was so good. We had cheviche and Carpaccio as starter. They were fresh and tasty. The sauce was balanced. They set up to get our appetite into overdrive. Mains were steak and fish. Both of each were cook to perfection. Cream burlee and chocolate mousse were on point and make the dinner complete. Everything was awesome. It was so good that I was compelled to walk towards to the kitchen to say thanks to the Chefs. The experience was so good and memorable. We went again. 5 stars. Again thank you Wegtan for looking after us both times.

Called in for coffee and brunch. What a wonderful find this place was! Fabulous service from friendly and efficient staff. The decor and ambiance is absolutely gorgeous in all areas including the stunning restrooms. Coffees were delivered almost straight away. Our breakfast meals were delicious and generous portions. They also offer continental and cooked buffet options. I would definitely dine there again and very keen to check out their fabulous dinner menu. So lovely to see staff with genuine smiles and awesome service.

Big Thanks to the lovely staffs that took care of our family on the night 11/7. The staffs are so caring and made us feel really welcome. The tuna ceviche and Scambi pasta were really yummy, Highly recommended. We’ve also had the eye fillet steak cooked to perfection medium rare, very soft and the flavour really suits my taste. The buratta dish was ok but not super special. In general a great experience would definitely comeback
