We tried this place yesterday for the 1st time and omg highly recommend to all.we had fish,chips,potato fritters,sausages and crab sticks all was so good that we are having it again tonight.was abit of a wait but there were quiet a few people there aswell as phone orders and uber orders.well worth the wait and there was no leftovers.thank you coxhead takeaways.

Our local fish and chips has new owners and man they can cook good fish and chips, food taste fresh, awesome to see raw fish on the menu too, got a egg burger and egg was cooked perfectly nice and runny and the combos are good quantity for your money

Got the Jumbo Burger. Sadly ate it fast and no pics. It was AWESOME! Friendly staff. Brought food to the car. Chips were also to perfection 👍

The fish and chips here are really good, and you get a lot of food for a decent price. The fish is crispy and tasty, and the chips are perfectly cooked. The potato fritter has a nice crunch, and the cheeseburgers are top-notch. The only downside is that the egg burgers were a bit runny, which made the bottom bun soggy. It was a messy eat, but still delicious. I would have given it a perfect 5/5 if the egg wasn't so runny, but I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and tasty meal.

Updated review 6/10/22:new owners started out OK, now A+, beautiful fish and chips, great service, shop is looking really good too, well done, for those who complained when they had just taken over, come on.

the best battered hoki I've had in a very long time. if it's frozen as others have commented then it fooled me. they had been light on the fries in the past but just had good portions of everything. i would definitely order from here again.
