Palms Restaurant & Bar

Very friendly staff. When they saw I had a heavy luggage they change my room to the first floor so would not need to lug it up the stairs. Food is not value for money though small portions for far too dare for what you get. Carpets could do with a deep clean as lots of stains but not their doing. Nice area to sit and watch TV in the bar. Rooms spacious. Would stay again

The room was clean and held all the expected bits and pieces. Good off-street parking. The restaurant menu appeared to be heavily influenced from the Indian sub-continent. The front desk was always attended and the staff were helpful and polite. A guest of mine was a little troublesome, and the staff were very professional in their assistance to me in resolving the issue. This is a clean and unpretentious hotel that I would be happy to use again. The missing star is because I think the prices are a little high. Otherwise, very good.
