Nakhon Thai

Food is superb, very tasty and large portion for the cost. The restaurant is not large so tables can be limited, best to book for dinner. Takeaway service also available. The decors are nice, traditional so you get the feel of Thailand. Fried rice and pad thai are the recommended dishes, tye curries are good as well. Alcohol is also served here and BYO is allowed with a cost. Lots of parking and near other shops like the supermarket and Asian stores around the Wairau Park.

Came here after a movie for a nice dinner. Lots of choices on the menu which was good (but made my decision difficult). The staff was friendly and the food came quickly. Had the Massamun curry and the serving size was very good. Prices were reasonable a well. Would definitely come back to try other things on the menu!

I do not know thai food that much and all I know is the famous Pad Thai. But last valentines day 14th February 2019, I wanted to try something different. So I decided to eat at Nakhon Thai as this was recommended by my friend. Got no clue what to order and asked the waitress for the best seller and she recommended this! Absolutely delicious!! Since its unlimited rice, i got to eat a lot of rice because of the food we ordered. sorry i forgot the name of the food. all i know is the pic on the left is with coconut and the pic on the right is somewhat sweet and sour!!
