By far, the BEST japanese restaurant I have been to in Auckland 😊 the atmosphere is so cozy and the service is just wonderful. We felt so welcomed, they would explain about every single dish in detail to us and the portions were all so generous. They have high chairs and baby cutleries which make them kids friendly for the families with younger kids. Amazing! I will definitely become a regular here. Come enjoy all the amazing food, everyone!

Haru Eatery is a Japanese restaurant that offers a unique and memorable dining experience. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you are welcomed by the owner and attentiveness towards your seating comfort. The menu at Haru Eatery is simple and easy to understand. It is lacking creativity however don’t let that fool you as their dishes are both visually stunning and delicious. I had special request due to dietary, the staff communicated clearly and made sure the request delivered correctly to kitchen. The ambiance of Haru Eatery presents a sense of tranquility and harmony, with the use of natural materials such as wood matching with muted colours that creates a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Haru Eatery is a place I would recommend visiting for anyone who appreciates a visually stunning Japanese cuisine. The price for lunch is reasonable, matching with the quantity.

FABULOUS food!! The salads were light & delicious, the Chicken Katsu was also delicious (so my husband tells me!) The Salt & Pepper Squid was tasty & not overly seasoned….& the Sashimi (we had the small) was very very fresh and included a serve of beef tataki - nice! ALL the food was beautifully presented and we couldn’t fault anything!! I was reluctant to do a review because I didn’t want to give away this little gem, but thankfully they do takeaway as well! Worth the trip to dine at this little gem, although I suspect if the restaurant was full it would be quite noisy - but a bit of bustle sometimes is nice too! The Sake menu is also impressive and looking forward to working my way through them! Highly highly recommend this delightful restaurant with truly hospitable, professional & friendly staff😉👍 We will be back…….. very soon!

Recent find, cute little place stashed away in Remmers, decent eats and good vibes. Well presented and tasty, a nice visit if you’re in the area. Prices are slightly pricey but quite standard imo for Japanese cuisine and the location. Pork belly is always a good feed, well marinated and presented, ramen was a goodie as well though probably would go to a specific ramen place if you’re looking fiending ramen.

Recent discovery - a Japanese Gem in Remuera! Haru Eatery offers amazing and fresh Japanese cuisine with a good selection of dishes ranging from sashimi, sushi, ramen and some of the best tempura and dipping sauce in Auckland! Highly recommend. Service was spot on and friendly. Place wasn't crowded for lunch for those that are not into crowds. Plenty of sake options too!
