This is the BEST Indian restaurant in Auckland. The food is exceptional and the service is even better. Been to what is classed as the best indian restaurants but to be honest the food here is epic. The taste is exquisite and such effort into everything. The chicken pakora is amazing and I love their lamb saag. Please use this as your go to Indian.

We stopped into the Indian Oceania restaurant on Friday night and were greeted with the friendliest service we have ever received! The waiter accommodated our needs very generously. The food was amazing, and so affordable!

A superb find. I was surprised that this place is not having great ratings. The chef definitely knows his / her business. The use of spices is perfect. The menu is well elaborated by the staff and service is very good too. The samosas and veg dishes were fresh and well done. And an amazingly good Dal Makhani and herb Naan. Portions are very good as well. Enjoyable.

Went there last night. Really enjoyed the food. Very friendly service. Plus you can order food from here and eat it at the bar next door, The Northern Line, if you are having a drink there. The Northern Line does a generous Happy Hour 4 to 8pm and has an excellent range of craft beer, especially Pale Ale.

Amazing service and food! We were a little hesitant when we were the only people there on a Tuesday, but it was way better than we were expecting. Had no trouble using the gold privilege as well. This place is a lovely restaurant with delicious food, the staff seem very nice and caring. Would go back for sure. Usually nice and quiet but don't let that deter you.

This is the second time we order online and it is our favourite indian food restaurant at the moment. The naan bread is really good! Also, lamb korma and chicken saagwala are vey tasty and fresh. Amazing food and great customer service!! It's worth trying it

One of the best food experience I had when I went for dinner. If you really like to have some authentic and freshly prepared food, please be patient and enjoy the ambiance. Have great time with staff. Chef prepare food with love and care. No unnecessary extra oil, spices, starch or cream. Its healthy and amazingly tasty. I would love to go again and again. Four lads from the Waiheke Island Curry Club popped over to the city in June 2019. We had an outstanding meal here. Very flavoursome dishes and some decent craft beer to match. The decor is so-so but the food is great. Staff were very outgoing and we were impressed with the authentic charcoal tandoor oven. Highly recommend it.

My wife and I bought takeaways form here last night. We ordered samosas, naan, poppadoms, chilli chicken and chicken vindaloo - all very reasonably priced. We eat out a lot and we eat Indian food at least once a week. All of the food and sauces were so delicious we couldn't stop eating and ended up feeling pretty bloated! The portions were quite generous too so we still have leftovers to finish off today :) Nice work Indian Oceania!
