Daruma Ramen

Honestly, was a little apprehensive going here due to low reviews - then realised I'd been ordering from Daruma on UberEats for a while & always highly rate it. Came in person for the first time today & again is as delicious as expected! The best soy broth ramen I've had in Auckland. It seems most of the low reviews are expecting more for the price, possibly an unrealistic expectation that bc its in a 'mall' it should cost less - but you can see exactly what you're getting on the menu pictures, plus its always been yum!

I recommend going to this restaurant when you want to have some small treats for yourself, or when you come to this food court with your friends or by yourself. I have 3 reasons why I like this restaurant; kind customer service, fast service, and a good volume of food. First, the customer service is great since when I order the ramen noodles, I was a bit confused about what to order as I don't know anything about their Japanese noodles. However, they kindly guide me through the system of toppings, which noodle is the most popular one and which one would be best for me to eat now following my feelings right now. I told them that I want something light and they recommended Japanese soy noodles so I ordered that with an extra topping of meat. They also kindly notified me that there is a free upside so I happily ordered the upside one!! Another great part is the fast serving. It took me less than 5 minutes to have my order and I love it! I suggest waiting in front of the serving place since it's pretty fast. The affordable price, the good quality of the meal and the great volume of the meal, stratified me a lot and it is a great place to get some energy. Overall, I like this restaurant and I recommend visiting there.

Atmosphere sucks because it's in a food court. However, I don't know what these other reviews are on about. Yeah it's expensive, I don't know if you noticed but everything is. It's probably lacking a little protein, but with an extra Tamago it's easily better tbh. The soup is yummy, the noodles are yummy. Highly recommend the OH MY Hot, only medium though, otherwise you lose the flavour of the soup and only end up feeling the spice. It's a great meal, filling, fast, and delicious. The Staff are lovely though, I really enjoy talking with them when I go there.

Was here yesterday and had a delicious bowl of ramen for reasonable price ($11). I would suggest to add the fried chicken pieces ($3.80) if you feel extra hungry like I was: they are super yummy with the AMAZING mayonnaise it is served with. If you like ramen, don't hesitate. Can't put any pictures because I ate it all before thinking of taking the picture but it looks exactly like the pictures you see on store. I will try to take pictures next time, promise... ah ah
