Great, reliable dive that hasn’t changed (in a good way!) for years. Friendly staff, plenty of seating, and an awesome delicious veggie burger.

On thanksgiving they had an incredible spread with turkey, great sides, gravy, and pie, all free of charge. These are very nice people and this has been one of my very favorite spots since I moved here 13 years ago. Thank you Crown and Anchor.

Typical college pub with better than average food. Our burger was yummy.The meat tasted fresh not frozen.Great selection of beer. The vibe was definitely a college pub, no frills but if you're looking for cheap good beer and food then this is the spot.

Absolute best burger in Austin! I have been going to Crown and Anchor for about two decades. I always enjoyed the jalapeno cheese burger.... just perfection and what a burger should be. I have a lot of love for the bar as well. In my twenties, there were always great deals on pitchers. In my more boring thirties, we would show up at 11am with our now 4-year-old daughter and get a burger and a beer when we were in the area. I love this place. We live in Massachusetts now, but we will always return on our family visits to Texas for some beer and just a perfect, lovely burger.

This place has great vibes, great food, and great beer. Their clientele is a good distribution of college kids and old folks, which is always a good sign. Will come back if I’m ever in Austin again.

Cool pub! Very chill & not to crowded for a Friday night. Had a good selection of beers. Really liked they have darts and two pool tables to kill the time & enjoy some beer. Prices are fare.

I love Crown & Anchor. Friendly neighborhood pub located close to University of Texas north campus. Friendly staff, great beer selections and food. The locals hang here for a reason... it's awesome 👌. Casual low key spot. Don't forget to tip!
