The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

This is one of my favorite places to stop at! I am obsessed with their matcha latte (both blended and iced), it’s the best I’ve tried in Austin so far as a matcha fanatic. I recently tried their coffee and is was also so good! I always go through the drive thru but the employees are always very friendly!

After trying Coffee Bean, I cant go to any other coffee place. Not even Starbucks. I have now been enlightened on what good coffee actually is. Which is quite sad that so many coffee shops barely have coffee in it after all the extra stuff they add. Coffee Bean is definitely not stingy with how they make their coffee. It is strong and made with love. The service here is also awesome. I haven’t ran into one bad experience when coming here. They also have a card you can punch and get your 10th coffee free— and added bonus; it Doesn’t matter the size of the free one, which makes me feel appreciated! We always get larges or extra large so it’s nice to get that same size free after 10 purchases!

Every time I’m in the Austin area or I work at our Austin location I always stop here and treat myself. All their coffee and flavors are amazing, their teas and snacks are amazing. I used to come here and study and I’d always feel cozy. Customer service is always great and they are patient to help you if you want to try something new. Highly recommend!

If you like the iced blended stuff and the really sweet lattes, this is significantly better than the other chain. The coffee has a robust flavor that cuts through the diabeetus. There are a fair amount of comfy seats, the wifi is fast, and it's generally a pleasant place to work. The baristas are friendly as well.

I always love CBTL because of their high quality iced tea, but have to say this location was a little disappointing. The guy at the register didn't really seem like he cared about his job or wanted to be there, pointing the board out to me instead of just answering my question about which teas were available today, and also just wasn't very friendly, but still made a great iced tea for me, which I appreciated. As opposed to some locations with plenty of power cords, this location only had one, which was next to easy chairs rather than a table, so I had to do my work on my lap. I will continue to go to CBTL, but probably not to this location again.
