Peppermill Restaurant

Had a big party for brunch and we were met with the best service in town. Everything was perfect from the food to the service of the staff, made us feel like we were at home. I ended up with the meat lovers skillet which was amazing! The rest of the group was raving over the biscuits and gravy and the crispy bacon. Definitely come by and give the Peppermill a shot for brunch. I know I will be coming back to try out the rest of their menu.

Poor girl was the only server with 10 plus tables. Service was good considering she was the only one on the floor. $8 for a half glass of strawberry daiquiri with no alcohol. Deep fried mushrooms and onions were amazing! Hand dipped and fresh. Deep fried fish wasn't what I was expecting with how good their hand dipped appetizers are

Had a big change in heart on my opinion of this place. My steamed broccoli is actually microwaved. It is rubbery and very chewy. I couldn't imagine someone with dentures or even without teeth trying to eat this. My fries came out looking like they were dipped in cold Greece and served to me. My client ordered a fish sandwich and onion rings those also were greasy and he didn't even eat the breading on them. I would give a zero and this was very disappointing.

I had ordered a 16 pieces chicken with a couple side and when we returned home and counted the chicken there was only 12 . When we called to inform them the manager called us a liar saying that when she packaged the box there was 16. We were upset an said we would return to show her proof, but she said we were being hostile and if we returned she would call the police and she hung up on me when I was trying to explain that we had payed 48.49 for 16 an only got 12. So we drove 12 miles back to town to show her the proof and she kept saying that my fathers normal tone was to hostile for her and after we confirmed that there was only 12 she gave us the missing chicken and told us we were no longer welcome. We can safely say they have lost our business.

This is a normal go to spot for us. It has good food, and always have a good time. Except for today. Today was bad. First of all, the good. This is why there’s 2 stars instead of 1. My meal was excenlt. Chicken fijita wrap. Warm, cheesy, absolutely delicious!! Loved every bite!! Now the bad: I’m sorry this is inexcusable especially considering we were 1 of a grand total of 2 groups being served with 3 waiters here. Mom ordered a 2 piece bristled chicken. Dark meat only, 2 thighs. What seemed like awhile (oh well it happens) our food came. Mine was great as I said above. However, mom got a breast and a wing. She didn’t even notice it but I did. I told our waitres and she put the blame on the other waitress who wasn’t even serving us. Well, I literally completely finished my meal, plus 5 more minutes before she got hers back. Sure, dark meat only this time but it was a theigh and a leg. She hates legs. I mentioned it and our waitress literally didn’t say a word. Mom caved and took it. She wound up refusing to eat her leg so I did. Plus we had to ask for the ketchup 3 times before it came for her. Not sure what that was about but today wasn’t a good time.

Great food and service. We were surprised once our food arrived. We realized that we ordered too much because they do not skimp on the servings. We ate breakfast here and it was the best country breakfast we have had in a long time. I will not have to eat for the rest of the day. High quality food at a very reasonable price.

Go there with my boyfriend when we are in town as we dont live around here and was completely turned off this time around. Lady seemed overworked, annoyed, didnt get refills, and the order i had specifically says it comes with a pickle on the side. She didnt know as she told me it doesnt come with pickles....usually sandwhiches/wraps come with a pickle and theirs are really good. Neither of us received one. Only reason its 3 is because I like service prior to this time. Hope they get more employees because they definitely need it
