B-town Diner

I stopped in for a late breakfast while in town recently. It was wasn't too busy when I was there mid-morning on a summer Friday. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Nutella and banana stuffed french toast, hashbrowns and bacon. It was delicious! The coffee was hot and also had a great flavor.

I had the corned beef hash, my husband had the hoosier haystack and then we also split an order of the banana and Nutella stuffed French toast - wow! All of it was so good. Exactly what we were wanting from a diner. The hadhbrowns were perfectly crispy, eggs were cooked as ordered and it was all served hot and quickly. We were warned at the hostess station that they were down to only one server and a long as we were patient, they would serve as fast as they could - but you could not tell that there was any shortage of staff. We will be returning to check out the lunch menu and to get some more of that French toast!

Ordered the Decadent Mac and Cheese along with a side of fries and this was the result. Waited 20 minutes for them to make our food and it came out soggy and not flavored. Mac and cheese said to be very cheesy yet tastes like buttered noodles. Fries aren’t fried all of the way and some still look raw. 1/5 wouldn’t order during quarantine.
