Papa Johns Pizza

Order was cancelled without warning. When calling they said the driver tried to call me (didn't recieve a call). It was contactless delivery - never heard a knock despite being by the door. I was called 18 minutes after ordering right at closing saying the driver called and the order was canceled because I didn't pickup. First, the time frame doesnt match up. Even if it went in the oven immediately there's no way the driver was here, called the store to cancel, who then cancelled it, within 18 minutes. Either 1) The driver called before leaving the store, and because i "didn't answer" they just cancelled it (even though they just need to leave at the door and not call!) or 2) the pizza was never made, and they just cancelled it right when the closed because they didn't want to make it. I have a feeling 2 is accurate as the order status never left "making". I had checked literally a couple minutes before the order was cancelled. I'd reccommend going with a different pizza that won't lie to you about attempting a CONTACTLESS delivery, and that will actually deliver during the hours they claim

I ordered two large pizzas for delivery and I live on Kirkwood, so currently they have Kirkwood blocked off for outdoor seating. I was nervous the delivery person would have to call me and meet me somewhere, but they were able to get into my building. I really appreciate them taking the time to park out of their way and enter my building!

Two times this month when I have ordered pizza I have gotten sick soon after. The first time my pizza was left on my door and there was no knock so it sat outside for a bit but this time the pizza was slightly cold when it arrived so the way the were kept may be what makes me sick but it’s also could be bad Ingredients

This place sucks. After allowing us to place an order and waiting for a half an hour thinking we've got food coming they call us back and tell us our order is ready and ask us if we can pay by credit card instead of cash now when we told them it was going to be a cash deal it was okay when we started the order and a half an hour went by and now it changed so they cancelled our order and management was very rude.

So very disappointing. I'm not sure what happened here. First this is my first meatball hoagie from Papa John's and I've been waiting for them to make them for years and was so disappointed in the presentation. There was so much sauce it had burned and you can see parts of it in the picture and the bun was burned black on both sides. I also got a cookie (which was very good) and one of the four for five drink things. He forgot them. He did drive back and was apologetic but when I got to the sandwich, which also wasn't cut hence the knife, I was so put off. I did enjoy the drivers personality but his attention to detail needs work. Disappointing.

Already was the best "fast food" pizza franchise imo, even without Papa in the house.. but the addition of the stuffed crust pizza (and NY-style pizza) definitively puts it atop pizza mountain, haha! I called one of their stores a few years ago and asked why they didn't have stuffed crust pizza, and the girl responded by saying: "I'm not certain, but that's a great idea!" Now, I'll stop short of taking FULL credit for the Epic Stuffed Crust pizza idea.. but the next time you eat a slice of a stuffed Papa pie, say a "Papa bless" for this local guide.. and maybe spare one for the Papa himself.. 😄
