5 star for the Huarache. As a San Diego transplant, I struggled with the idea of giving up Mexican food in the east coast. The steak Huarache has been the only saving grace with the salsa de rojo. All the other food has been mid, as well as communication barrier being a nuisance.

Moved to Philly from Cali about 5 years ago and out of all of the Mexican restaurants I've tried in PA this is the only one that tastes like home. They're chorizo and carnitas are the best. Best place to go when I'm feeling homesick. Super authentic Mexican food. The best in PA. They take cash/credit.

So authentic! Everything is made fresh ans is absolutely wonderful. They also sell groceries! Order ahead at dinnertime if you can, they get busy.

as almost every amazing hole in the wall restaurant. It's attached to a grocery store. You make a quick left and order from the Spanish only menu. After a short wait we get greeted by some of the most amazing tasting Taco's and meat platter. I highly recommend this place for a great meal.
