Greer's Chicken

Tender, juicy chicken with a light crispy outside. The gravy is delightful. tastes like the broth of Chicken noodle soup but light saucy type gravy. (Not thick). Clam strips are OUT OF THIS WORLD. sweet batter, nice wholesome bite to it. I just wish they had lemons to provide. Mashed potatoes were thick and creamy. So smooth to the tongue. Light salt just to compliment the taters. Rotisserie chicken had no flavor. Didn't taste salt to help the cooking process so it was bland BUT the chicken was juicy and pull apart tender. They know what they are doing. Staff is polite and super friendly. 5 stars is deserved.

Bought some chicken, fried mushroom, and some chunks. They all tasted the same, like they use the same batter for everything. The problem is they just did not taste good. The chicken was weirdly dry with no skin, and I didn't know if it was undercooked or overcooked. There was just something off about it, like freezer burn stuff. I will likely not be going back, it's just not good at all. I gave it 2 stars cause it was at least puppy edible, no coating of course...

I mean.. if you guys like tasteless and overcooked chicken sure. Am I taking crazy pills? How are there so many 5 stars for the chicken. Crispy skin sure, but the batter tastes like nothing at all. Literally no spices or even salt. They even overcooked the dark meat.. how could you?! Oh the humanity. I love me some fried chicken, a family size bucket easy peasy, no problem. This is not authentic Southern fried chicken, no amount of hot sauce could save it.. :(
