Went ice skating across the street and was drawn in by the aroma of pizza. They boast the 8.something rating from Portnoy and taste wise. I believe it’s there.
As far as the Pizza in general, we have to admit, this is not your typical or even traditional NY pizza. I still enjoyed it.
We had pepperoni pie and the bacon, ham, pineapple pie. The flavor on the pepperoni was amazing! The unfortunate part was how soggy the pizza got. I was forced to eat half of the slice with a fork and knife until it was solid enough to pick up and fold in half. The other pie was worse. The flavor was still good, just feels like a missed opportunity. Not super sure how it’s made in the kitchen but I highly suggest draining as much of the pineapple juice as possible before putting it on the pie. And, I believe the pie also had a pineapple jelly or something, completely unnecessary.
As many others have said, this is cash only, they do have an in-house ATM machine with a $3 charge.
Overall it was good tasting pizza, ok experience. Next time I’ll hit my local pizzeria.

I've had the pleasure of frequenting Ignazio's for over a decade, and it never disappoints. This place has it's unique charm that combines one of the best pizza and exceptional service. Oh, and artichokes are great too.
Tonight my waitress were Dana, she does a great job, always smiling and works fast. Even on busy days, they manage to find you a table.
In a city filled with pizza joints, Ignazio's is certainly one of the best, and it is not a figure of speech - their pizza is my preferred choice in the vicinity, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Ignazio's has earned a special place in my heart.

My long time partner always burns his mouth when eating pizza but this time he didn't seem to mind. We shared "The Pizza" and enjoyed covering the slices in a thick layer of grated parmesan and red pepper flakes. The staff was delightful and the experience was seamless. Cash only payment made for a quick check out.

Easily the BEST pizza I’ve ever had. We had “The pizza” and meatballs with mozzarella. Everything was fresh and beyond delicious. Owner is also very friendly and welcoming. I recommend this place a million times.

Good service. They aim to please. Great pizza and atmosphere, right under the Brooklyn Bridge. However they required that we pay cash. I don’t know if their card machine was not working or what.

We had the pepperoni and cheese, which was very good! Although the flop was kind of inconsistent (pepperoni was floppy). The crust was great though. The view was also great and price was alright too! We didn’t have to wait too long for the food so that was good. Definitely would recommend!

Every time I find myself under the Brooklyn bridge, I come visit this shop. Service is superb and top tier friendly. Pizza is as fresh as they come. Highly recommended

My friend was visiting and wanted to see the Dumbo Manhattan Bridge view. We decided to get a slice in the area and a friend recommended Ignazio's. I'm glad he did and that we decided to go. The regular cheese slice was amazing. I would go back for an entire pie and would definitely recommend anyone in the area try their pizza. In addition to the great food, the service was amazing as well!

Im from the uk and wanted to try NYC style pizza and i got it at this place. Crusty and crunchy pizza was amazing and a great view of Brooklyn Bridge . Girl served up was so friendly and nice but second girl who served us also was little less friendly but maybe she just was having a bad day who knows. But honestly this is great place go eat. Pizza is expensive but when on holiday you tend pay more id say. Id give the pizza a 9.2 for taste.

WOW! We really liked it! We really enjoyed the pizza. They only accept cash but have an ATM inside. We sat outside and was very nice. Also we received good attention.
