First time eating here for my wife and myself. Was excellent. We both have Sicilian Born Mothers and the food esp. the specialties were just about identical to our mothers’ cooking. Friendly atmosphere where the owner comes to your table to see how everything is and to chat. Highly recommend. We will go back for sure.

Such a fulfilling dining experience. I loved speaking with the owner and longtime employees. A very cute and relaxed spot. We loved everything.

I waited all my life to get here to finally have a Manhattan Special out of the fountain....I was not disappointed. Everything was yummy 😋

The food was so good! We went for a small late lunch, ordered a potato special and spaghetti alla bolognese, then finished it off with a cannoli. The service was pleasant. We definitely look forward to coming back.

Food was good . Had a chicken parm roll for 10 bucks but the most diners are 36 i thought the diners were way overpriced for the amount of food i seen people around me get . How almost 4 times the price for the same food to be on a playe and not on a roll. Maybe about double the portion size to have on a plate so 20 would be fine not 36.

Hidden gem alert. Staff is amazing. Atmosphere is fun and transportive. Food is right on for some NY Sicilian Italian. Very spot on and a super fun name to say. Ferdinando’s Focacceria. Ferdinando’s Focacceria. Ferdinando’s Focacceria! Best cannoli ever too. Best I’ve ever had! Truly.

New York’s third-oldest restaurant, serving Sicilian food in an atmospheric little space off the Brooklyn waterfront since 1904. Highlights of their menu include the frutti di mare, panelle, arancina, and the utterly unique pasta con sarde (pasta with sardines), a warming, almost North African dish rich with Maghrebi spices, sultanas, and pine nuts.

This place is a classic. Opened over a century ago, it offers updated and traditional Sicilian fare. Pasta with sardines (pasta con sardi) is a keeper, as is chicken Parm. Great specials and nice house wines. I stop by every time I get to New York. An old Brooklyn tradition.

Great! Nice cozy place with delicious food! Ate. The basics today and the portions were generous, hot and tasty. The waiter was attentive and we really enjoyed the experience. No room for dessert!

Best Sicilian food in NY!! Definitely worth the trip to Brooklyn. Make sure you get a panelle special and a rice ball.
