Such a beautiful restaurant. I came here with my girlfriend for an anniversary and we immediately started talking about how it would be a perfect place to bring her parents. Food is great, but the decor is really what sets it apart. Best in decent outdoor weather just for the back patio, which is really beautiful.

Solid food in Brooklyn Heights. There are a few things that keep it from 5-Star status: it’s very drafty on any side of the restaurant in the path of the door — and by drafty I mean freezing even in front of the fireplace. The soups are lacking in salt and the amount of things they ran out of were a bit off-putting (2 desserts, liqueur). For $200+ for two people, these things should not be an issue. But overall a good experience.

I went there for brunch, I ate some eggs benedict with baked potatoes and everything was very good, as you can figure from the pic. The place, indoors, is very well furnished and the wood is beautiful. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

The only problem with this place may be the service. Food: Amazing menu with elevated dishes and crazy good brunch and dinner. I've been here twice and had the duck (out of this world), and the salmon Benedict (great brunch). I definitely have to come back to try their burger which looks phenomenal. The lamb appetizer special we got was cooked to perfection, even the bread at the table is great. Location: Footsteps from the Brooklyn waterfront. I highly recommend a walk on the promenade while you digest. The digs: Super cute old-timey feel. It feels like you are in someone's grandparents barn house. Old and creaky NY meets hipster charm with their chic lighting concepts and embroidered wallpaper. Staff: In my two trips here I've been sat right behind the cash register when the rest of the restaurant was pretty empty, had bee passed the dessert menu before our mains came out, and had cocktails that didn't make it to the table until long AFTER the food arrived. They really need to work on that, because I'd come back more often. I'd I knew I wouldn't have to deal with sub-par service.

I was here for my friend's birthday! The atmosphere was good and lovely for the occasion even though it was bit pricy. The sangria was really good and my favorite was the cornbread and jam that came out in the beginning. I had a pork chop and it was ok. However, I took a bite of my friend's shepherd's pie and it was so good. The portion was huge was well. Generally, all the food was fresh and good.

The food here is so yummy. I highly recommend the crab cakes. This place emphasizes farm to table and only has the freshest ingredients. They bring out their warm homemade cornbread with apple chutney as a starter. The place is nice and quaint inside, and the service is awesome - people here are so nice. You can't go wrong.

Great service and beautiful food. We stopped for lunch and had the cod and the crab cakes which were on the pricier end of the menu but worth it. I also ordered a fresh juice which was delicious. Our server was really friendly and happy to give up some tips on where to get a good view of the city.

Came here for brunch with our dog, the staff was really friendly and the food was great. We got eggs benedict and an omelette, they were both very good. The home fries that come with most brunch plates are yummy as well. They also gave us a complimentary corn bread dish which was nice.
