We were craving some Ethiopian food and this was the perfect place to go to. The food here is vegan but the taste was amazing amazing. The quantities are a lot. The vibe is cozy, and the service is good. It tastes like a home cooked meal. Definitely recommend this place!!

First time trying Ethiopian food 🇪🇹 and i went with a friend for my b.day. Enjoyed the experience to eat on the same plate. We ordered the feast for 2 (even though that’s food for at least 3 people😂) for $49 + a couple of appetizer and mango juice (freshly squeezed) that is served with pomegranade syrup (if i am not mistaken). On a mission to try all the vegan spots in NYC

I was in town visiting some family and stopped here for some lunch and this food did NOT disappoint. I left full off a $13 Lunch Meal, which I feel is rare to experience as a vegan. And in Brooklyn at that!! The service was great! Takes a bit of patience as it is obvious english is not many of the employees primary language. I appreciated that A LOT, as I am not a huge fan of cultural restaurants with employees who are not of that or a similar cutlure.

I really enjoyed the Ethiopian breakfast, especially the brand (ful). I'd like to check out their normal menu too. The coffee was too strong, and they had a single overworked waiter for the entire large space.

A gem of an Ethiopian restaurant in Bushwick area. Started with shorba (soup), and the main dish with 9 different vegetarian options along with Injera. Everything was delicious. Coffee and tea were also great. Ambience is great inside.

I cannot rave about this place enough! They make such incredible delicious food and I love it every time that I am there. Everything is vegetarian which is always a plus for me. I was afraid of the food being too spicy for my delicate palate but everything was just FLAVOURFUL! I wish that I could make the injera at home, but I have heard it is a difficult thing to master!

I got the feast for two for my husband and I and it was so much food. We walked away full and healthy. It was our first time having Ethiopian food and we would definitely come back for more. Each scoop tasted distinctly different and well spiced. The vibes were great for a date, intimate. I’d also come back with a small group of friends.

During our recent lunch outing, we had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant conveniently located near a subway station. This accessibility added to the overall positive experience. For our beverages, we opted for Shai (Tea) and Bunna (Coffee). While these drinks didn't quite match our personal preferences, it's worth noting that they offered a unique and distinct flavor profile compared to the usual tea and coffee options. To kick off our meal, we indulged in Sambusa, a delightful starter featuring a savory filling of lentils encased in delicate phyllo sheets. The accompanying chutney provided an exquisite complement to the dish, elevating its overall taste. We were so impressed with the flavors that we also decided to order some to-go. For the main course, we selected the Lunch option, which included a generous scoop of four items. Our choices included Enguday Tibs, Shiro, Misir Wat, Yater, Keysis, and a seasonal dish. Each dish was thoughtfully accompanied by Injera, the traditional Ethiopian flatbread. The majority of the dishes left a lasting impression due to their delightful flavors and authenticity, with the exception of the seasonal offering. It's worth noting that the portion sizes for the Lunch option were quite ample, ensuring that diners left satisfied. Additionally, the pricing was reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality and quantity of food provided. In summary, our dining experience at this restaurant was thoroughly enjoyable. We would highly recommend this establishment to others seeking a taste of authentic Ethiopian cuisine and a conveniently located dining spot.
