I got the Italian sandwich on sliced multigrain bread instead of hero bread. Very good, fresh, and the staff were very accommodating with the substitution.
Donuts were good but the Oreo donut was a little on the dry side.
Clean place. Organizes. Friendly and efficient staff. I will be back whenever I’m in the area.

Best bakery in Brooklyn for bread. Pastries are ok but not great. Its all about the bread. Worth the ride. Specifically if you come from countries with good bread culture, this is the Oasis you were looking for in Brooklyn.

Really impressive bakery. Excellent service. Bread and pastries baked right there. The aroma of fresh bread is inviting. Excellent quality of coffee too.

We came in at about 4.30 pm Monday and they did not have anything from the menu on their wall, no sandwiches. They pointed to the fridge but that stuff did not look too attractive. So we ended buying coffee and pastries which were ok. So definitely not a reliable lunch spot but ok as a bakery.

Long line. Decent coffee. But they do have really great pastry. Delicious and plentiful. Good deal for the free pasty with a large latte, but it's not the best or even mediocre coffee. I would have been more disappointed in the coffee if it weren't for the free pasty that came with it to make it better.

Popped in here for the first time. Excellent customer service, great pastries. I saw a customer order the chicken avocado sandwich. It looked so good. I think I’ll come back today on my lunch to get that.

Love this place. A little crowded inside but the bread and other pastries are excellent. Also love watching them work behind the glass.
And it makes the whole block smell good.

Omg the sausage egg and cheese on ciabatta is the best I’ve had. Their pastries are less my fave, but the deal to get a cappuccino and free pastry is totally a steal so who could complain.

I love this place for so many reasons (huge assortment of baked goods, and convenient hours, etc.) but they really really need to fix their POS system.
The wait here is always way longer than it needs to be because the POS system is either not working at all or is so unnecessarily cumbersome that it takes several minutes for the cashiers to educate each customer on how to use it. I usually look at the line and just keep walking because it goes so slow.
They would definitely triple the number of customers they'd be able to serve and make everyone so much happier if they went with a new POS.

I loved the bread, cake, and donuts that we tried here (ciabatta bread, chocolate frosted yellow cake, and a black and white frosted donut with a few of their donut holes on the side), but the chocolate croissant left a little to be desired. They had a deal running where you get a free baked good if you order a large latte. The latte wasn't bad! The prices are not so bad. Check-out was extremely slow and stressful for everyone for no good reason - poorly trained staff. The atmosphere is very basic, the exterior is clean and has seating. I'll be back for the donuts.
