Not packed like the original location, ordered my usual pastrami and corned been Reuben. I think the first location still tastes a little bit better but the sandwich was still amazing and no complaints. Did not need to wait the 30-40 minutes for a sandwich which is a huge plus.

This review is based off my father in laws experience. We attempted to visit the original Katz Delicatessen and the line was down the block. Later that day, we found out this version Katz Deli was nearby our hotel. I’m not sure how he ordered but it was delicious, juicy, and abounding in pastrami! I’ve seen other reviews say it was dry, but the pastrami by itself was very tender and juicy then it also had lettuce, onions, sauce, and cheese so idk! I recommend ordering with the usual condiments. He also really loved the lemonade and said it tasted like it had some ginger in it. My husband went and ordered one after his dads experience! Although I’m sure it’s different that the experience at the original, it was great to be able to try it in Brooklyn! $28 for the sandwich $4 for the lemonade. A hefty price but worth it for the experience. Can’t say it’d be a regular indulgence tho

Placed a pickup order through Uber Eats. The freshest coleslaw my Husband and I ever had. We both ordered the Brisket one on rye and the other on club breads. We asked for mayo on both sandwiches but it wasn’t on it. The meat was juicy but still made the sandwich a bit dry. The lemonade was good not too tart or sweet.

Sandwich and chicken soup was fine and I wouldn’t have too many comments if it was not labeled as Katz’s.
However, I’m a bit disappointed as I have not experienced the same excitement that I used to get from the original Katz’s.
Maybe because it’s a different location, food court, and just an imitation of Katz’s?
Maybe because the service quality is not the same level, nobody is doing a sandwich in front of you and offering to try a piece of meat, like they serve at Katz’s?
Maybe because the sandwich was not as good and not overfilled with pastrami as they are at Katz’s?
Too many reasons not to be excited. 😐

Great food without waiting in line! The food is not cheap at all, but so delicious and worth a try! Bought the pastrami sandwich, which came with yummy chicken soup too. Loved the giant pickles!! Stall is in a cool food court with other great food stands too.

GLUTEN FREE GOODNESS - The Pastrami is the BOMB 😋 I’m a huge Brisket lover and I really had high hopes for the brisket especially after they gave me a taste of the pastrami and it was NO WHERE as good as I wanted it to be. Go for the New York Gold….. Pastrami all the way!

I've heard that Katz is very famous and well known for their sandwiches. I went to try it. I ordered a 1/2 pastrami sandwich with matzo ball soup. The second I took a bite on the sandwich my expression was WOW!! It's definitely one of the best sandwiches I've had. Their meat was soft and tender. The order didn't take so long to arrive. I highly recommend this place.
