Red Lobster

This place is always busy. Probably because the food is so damn tasty. I must admit however, their service has gone downhill. We had to wait far too long for them to bring out their cheddar bay bisquits & they weren't as firm as I remembered, almost as if they weren't completely done. I must admit, they were still tasty. My wife & I ordered the clam chowder & when they brought it out, it was room temperature so we sent it back & when they brought it out again my wife's was heated up but mine was actually colder. How does that happen? Finally, they got it right the 3rd time. I also had the stuffed mushrooms, one of my favorite appetizers. They were delicious. I also had the endless shrimp. Usually I stick to the shrimp scampi, & althought they were on the small side they were delicious as well. The prices have gone up since the pandemic, but I guess that's how it's been with all restaurants. Overall, I had a good experience but, it could have been better.

My boyfriend and I came in after a day of shopping and there was happily no wait for party of two. As always, the biscuits were warm, buttery and tasty and remain a good reason to go to any Red Lobster location. We both partook in the ‘Ultimate Endless Shrimp’ deal which for us was totally worth the $20 as it’s a great way to get smaller portions of differ dishes when you’re indecisive plus a side. The refill portions are not at all skimpy either. The real reason for my review though would have to be the staff at this location. Everyone is so unbelievably kind and they really enhance the quality of the experience. We will be back next time we shop at the Gateway Center.
