La Loncheria

I’ve been looking forward to this day every week and La loncheria is the first place that comes to mind on Taco Tuesday. I’ve been here a handful of times and every single time I was never disappointed. The Steak tacos are so tender and full of flavor, the Carnitas tacos are unmatched as they compliment it with pieces of toasted cuero to add some crunch to the symphony of flavors, and the ceviche? Well, it’s to die for. The Mezcal selection is extensive, the ambience is amazing the service is 10 out of 10. You can’t lose !!!

Really cute spot! Didn’t have drinks but went in for some dinner. We ordered the carnitas and barbacoa tacos, tostada ceviche, and the mole enchiladas. Carnitas tacos were my favorite but overall the food was great. Bartender said the ceviche was spicy and she wasn’t kidding! Also their black beans are low key amazing.

This is one of my favorites places in the city for Mexican food also just one of my favorite places period. The food is the most delicious and soul warming, the margaritas are sooo good, they make me feel good at the right amount of goodness. It's a great vibe, amazing staff, right music. I love it here. Everyone should have a place they love like I love this restaurant.

La Loncheria is a great little casual spot in Bushwick serving their take on Mexican food. It’s not traditional but it’s super tasty. We sampled a variety of dishes during happy hour. We started with the ceviche tostada which was honestly the star of the show! It was so delicious and citrusy and went amazingly on the crispy tostada, it’s a must try! We also got the Sopa de Tarasca which was good but nothing too special. Next we got a half portion of a Torta which was really amazing, it had an amazing layer of beef paired with fresh cabbage and cilantro, a black bean spread and crispy cheese on perfectly toasted bread. The half portion is actually huge! We also tried the lamb barbacoa tacos, the tuna tacos, and the carne Asada tacos. Everything was well cooked but I think each one could’ve benefitted from a bit more fat and flavor. We also got a margarita. And for all of that it was only $59 before tip! I was impressed by the prices and it was a great casual meal. I definitely recommend trying this spot if you’re around Bushwick!
