Had a nice conversation with the friendly owners who are hands on the entire process providing limited ingredient fresh food. Well worth going out of the way to, as you can go grocery shopping there for cooked sides, biscuits, and deserts. I brought home peach cobbler and had fried chicken yams and Mac n cheese, all were cooked perfectly.

The best chicken and waffles in the area. The fried chicken is beautifully seasoned and a nice crisp that fills your pallet with ecstasy. The waffles are cooked with a nice balance of texture and flava. I always have to make a stop here when I'm in the area. This always hits the spot!!!! Glad this place is alive and kickin!

I ordered via Postmates, got the shrimp and grits and toast, and it was DELICIOUS. It's been so long since I've had good grits like this and the shrimp was perfectly crispy. Even the toast was perfect. I ate it so quickly I got hiccups. Definitely recommend.

Ordered the chicken with red velvet waffles. It was amazing! Waffle was soft and tender drizzled with cream cheese frosting. The chicken was perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside while hot and juicy in. Both were delicious on there own but put them together with the syrup and you have a little taste of heaven. Definitely going back for more!

The food has been splendid for years. I am a 22 year fan. I remember when Napoleon's was on Stanley ave. Over I East New York. I couldn't get enough and would try to eat Everything in the kitchen! Excellent food. Excellent service with Southern hospitality. The best soul food in Brooklyn hands down. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place has some of the best fried chicken wings and potatoes salad. The chicken wings are made to order and the portion sizes are large. The wait staff is awesome and willing to answer any questions you may have.

If you want good soul food at a reasonable price. This is the place to come. I had the oxtails with mac and cheese and cabbage.. excellent. The meat was tender and seasoned well. I also had yellow cake with chocolate frosting which was excellent. The owners cook the food themselves and the staff are very friendly. So, if you are in Brooklyn or not. It's worth the trip.
