the espresso is my go-to and the people that work are always very nice, but the bagels are very sad... and the $10 minimum is kind of insane. why can't we tip the rest of the way up until $10? The workers actually deserve that extra money rather than me getting a bag of chips or granola. The only experience I've ever had with the owner, she was not nearly as nice as the rest of the workers here are. I'm not sure if i'm going to come back

Best coffee and atmosphere of the coffee shops in the neighborhood, but doesn’t open until 8 on weekends. I don’t have the patience to wait until 8 and other spots open at 7, so I rarely wind up at steeplechase.
Please open earlier weekends!

An impressively mediocre, overpriced coffee shop. If I'm paying nearly $5 for a cup of cold brew coffee, it should probably be cold and not full of recently melted ice. My favorite feature of Steeplechase is that they don't even open until 8AM. The neighborhood deserves a much better coffee shop than this place. A repeated disappointment.

A quiet coffee shop. Good for getting work done. Minimal food options, but an adequate coffee selection. Laptop/tablet use limited to tables in the rear of the coffee shop. Cash only.

I love Steeplechase! When do you think you will open indoor at partial occupancy, now that many people are getting vaccinated? I saw some cafes have opened indoor recently. I just really love your shop and can't wait to sit down again! <3

This place is one of the best coffee shops in Brooklyn hands down. Excellent coffe and fantastic pastries. I'd say they are as good or better than Blue Bottle coffee. They have great hot chocolate too, doesn't have that artificial taste like D&D has.

Espresso was burnt and coffee was extremely hot. For a specialty coffee shop, I expected a higher quality cappuccino.

The lady with a turban told me everything there had sugar. Espresso - sorry sir it has sugar. Cappuccino- made with sugar. Almond milk - made with sweetener.
I cant get a coffee here without sugar. Ughhh!
Not sure why anyone would use sugar in their cappuccino or lattes and not have a non sugar option.
They need better staff who know how to make coffee. Otherwise it's a cute place in a lovely neighborhood.
