Service was good just not sure how this restaurant claims best burger in Brooklyn. If you enjoy chub ground beef heated with zero flavor this is your place. I hate to leave a bad review but this burger was awful. It was like grandmas meatloaf that you never wanted to eat. Just a big blob of meat not put into a nice patty, more like a giant meatball that was slightly pressed with once again no flavor. Had two bites and couldn’t do it. Tried to enjoy the bacon but even that was thin hormel looking cheap stuff. It couldn’t mask the flavor of the awful ground beef. Maybe the chef forgot to add seasoning to the batch of ground beef 🤷‍♂️.

The good: the staff was kind and quick, taking time to bring me things before I had to ask for them. The food was tasty and came in large portions and there was a nice selection at the bar. The ambiance was great overall! The bad: Nothing significant honestly. The food might have been a bit greasy, but it’s a bar so I expect that when I order. The bathrooms could have used a little more attention than they had received. Lastly, the chair I had out on the patio was a kinda falling apart and could use replacing. Certainly nothing worth taking a star away for, more mentioned to let the management know. 👍 The ugly: Nothing! Go have a drink and be happy.

We had high hopes for this place as it looks so nice from the outside. We were somewhat disappointed. The beer list needs some more creative options as most of the beers are large-scale brews like shock top and Bud. The craft entries tended to be watered-down options like "session beers". The wine situation is even worse. The menu only listed generic categories rather than vintners. The waitress had to go look in back to find out what wines they actually have. My date finally decided wine was not a good idea and ordered a special flavored margarita, which proved to be from a mix and was un-drinkable. They were nice about it and got her a simple mixed drink. The fried chicken was fabulous, right in their strike zone. My date had the Tuna steak special which was awful. Cooked too much and no discernible spice or flavor treatment, just plain fish with sesame seeds. In general this place needs some vision with both their food, beverage and decor. We love to patronize the neighborhood places but probably won't go back here again unless I'm by myself looking for great fried chicken...which I'll have to consume with an ice water!
