Knapp Street Bagel Cafe

So, I've never actually eaten here but after seeing the way the food is treated I never would. Maybe it's just me but when you're storing your uncooked bagels near an open door off a street (that has construction work, dust and other debris flying around on it) less than 5 feet from a dumpster i personally begin to question the cleanliness of the workers as well as the food. I wouldn't even trust the coffee. Too bad.

Went in for a sandwich. Held the door for this rude curmudgeon from my building. Got to the counter. Waited. Waited. Waited. Guy came out and took the $1 coffee order from the curmudgeon before acknowledging that I had been patiently waiting. I said “Hey I got here first” and the guy say “Bye!” All sarcastic with an exaggerated wave and everything. I have to say I’m a bit shocked about the behavior. You just lost a LONG time customer. EDITING to respond to your response: So you have no control over the behavior of YOUR staff that skipped serving me and sarcastically waved and told me “bye”? That was YOUR staff member who’s behavior was shocking. That was YOUR store’s reputation manager that morning. Although, considering your response to my review, that is the attitude with which YOU run YOUR business. Thank you for cementing my decision.

visited many times, staff continues to be rude, no other shop acts like this.. what is different with them? if they hate working there they are welcome to go somewhere else. , the older man who works in kitchen thinks that wearing gloves does not apply to him, who knows what's going on in kitchen if he cannot get the basics
