Typical east side bar as a sort of time capsule to years past. Comfy bar stools, a horseshoe type bar, and well above average "pub-food". Would definitely recommend a peak to locals looking for a watering hole. Best qualities include multiple games including puck bowling, 2 dart boards, quick draw, and even a cornhole set. The dining area is even large enough for indoor winter play. There's also a nice patio that is large enough for smokers to enjoy, and non-smokers to enjoy a nice few drinks to be distant enough to enjoy the fresh air and a cold beverage. Been there several times now and all the staff is super friendly, and can tell some pretty interesting stories when provoked. The regulars are also very interesting and have stories of their own, including one woman that works for the zoo and legit had a "pet" polar bear she was care-taker of in her own home for a period. In summary, great fish fry, great wings, cold beer, great staff, friendly patrons, and a large bar and dining area

I stopped by with a friend. I'm too old for the crowd. I was too old for the crowd when I was the same age of the crowd. The bartender was nice and really cool, that's the big positive. I may have been there on a bad night, but since everyone seemed to know everyone I don't think I was. I liked the layout and the bartender. It's built like a perfect dive bar with a rowdy section.
