ive tried all the jamaican places in buffalo and this was the best by far!! the jerk chicken is to die for, the sauce is the best, just the right amount of spice and kick, without being too hot.. and the chicken falls off the bone its so tender. i always buy about 5 dinners so i can eat them through the week because its sooo delicious that i can never get enough. fair prices and nice sized portions, the plantains are tender and sweet. the jerk pork and pepper steak are also great, my friend orders the ox and loves it. we have never had any food from here that wasnt good- its all been great. the cakes are so delicious too! so soft and moist and flavorful! have been a customer for years and will be for the rest of my life as long as they are in business! the people who run it are always so lovely and nice.

This is my first time leaving a review for anywhere but I felt compelled to. As a Jamaican I was extremely disappointed in the quality of food I received from this establishment. The fried chicken lacked seasoning and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Don’t even get me started on the flavorless Oxtail - y’all don’t trim the damn fat off? 😑If this is how the chef cooks at home he shouldn’t be cooking in a restaurant. I never usually eat out from Jamaican restaurants because the food never taste good but their fried chicken is always ok but man was I disappointed. I guess the rave reviews are from Americans or mixed Caribbean background because there is no way a Jamaican would give this place 5 stars. Please revamp the food and cook with love... this wasn’t it. Wasted my $30 and I’m so hurt.
