Taste Good Chinese Restaurant

Taste Good, in fact, tasted quite bad. I was going to make a comment that maybe the sesame tofu I had wasn't an item they make very often and so maybe they don't concentrate on it as much as chicken, pork, or other more common proteins and protein substitutes, but the fact that it's right there in the description of their business now makes me kind of surprised that how terrible it was. There was a weirdly slimy outer layer around a very soft interior that fell completely apart and had rather abhorrent mouthfeel. My wife got some steamed pork dumplings, usually an easy win for places like this, but she reported at the end of her eating that it was okay at best, and she's usually pretty forgiving of any kind of food, Chinese takeout in particular. There are much better Chinese places to get within easy reach of this one.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I will never ever eat at this place again! I ate half of my not very good general tso on my lunch break, only to find a cockroach in it. Good thing I did not eat it. I did get my money back, but I should call the health department on them. The place was filthy no wonder they have roaches and who knows what else.
