We arrived at 1:41pm. The waitress brought us waters and took our appetizer order. We received our app at 2:13. We ordered the medium wings, those were delicious. We ordered our entrees fish tacos(only available on Fridays), French onion soup and PB and J burger. The PB and J burger was raw(see picture). The service was slow. We sat near the kitchen and could see the cook sitting on the counter near the prep station, employees vaping in the back, as well as other employees sitting in the back talking. We let the waitress know about our raw food. We’re not from here but it won’t be on our list to come back either. Service was very slow. We headed out at 3:11pm. Yes, I wrote this whole sitting in the restaurant.

Came to FT for lunch during peak time. We were seated right away. Service was outstanding! Our waitress was great making sure we (and the other tables) had everything we needed. There were two guys, one most likely the manager, that checked to make sure that all was good as well. The menu was varied, the food was delicious, and the place looked great. We’ll definitely be back.

Got a massive pretzel (hand for scale) and wings. The pretzel was obviously freshly made given it took 15 minutes to arrive and was really hot, yet also extremely delicious! Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the wings, but they were also quality Buffalo wings. Certainly better than a lot of other places.
Go here if you want to eat slightly overpriced yet quality Buffalo-style food in the trendy hipster area of Allentown.

Great restaurant. The portion sizes are huge. The food was excellent. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with French Fries it was a slam! Great Service. And the Drinks were just right! I'll definitely be back. It was great prices as well we each had a drink 🍸 and an entre and in total spent $50.

Just stunning. The level of care and ambience inside of forty thieves is just to die for. Whether you are going after a buffalo bills win (Go Bills) or for a casual lunch with the family, 40 has the crowd to make it just right.
I highly recommend the turkey brie and the rueben. I was pleasantly surprised to not be able to finish my meal since there was so much bang for your buck. The kitchen took so much care for me across the three times I came to forty and I will certainly be stopping again! If I could, I would give a big old hug to the chef. There is a long list of drafts that scroll through a tv for a variety of different tastes and brews. I would call forty a must-stop if you are going into buffalo for whatever reason.

Where to begin: We stopped in for a few beers, and selected from an Untappd menu that didn’t pricing or size information. We picked an pale ale and a porter. They were served in mini glasses that were at best 12 oz. but possibly 10 oz. When I asked the bartender what size it was, he said “…..8 oz.??” and clearly didn’t know. I was pretty shocked by the size (also notice there’s even a little cutout inside the glass, further reducing the volume). When I got the tab, I was floored to see they charged us $8 for this. Weirdly, other people seemed to maybe have full pints, so unsure how you get those….have to ask? Menu showed no sizing or pricing, so zero transparency, plus the uninformed bartender = we left after that beer. Patio was great, beer selection was solid, so 3 Stars.

Had lunch at this place and was truly amazed. I had never been here before. The drinks were really good. Had 2 bloody Marys. Delish!
Also had the salad with chicken, cranberries and walnuts. I can honestly say I've never had a more impressive salad anywhere. Was with 3 other family members and the portion sizes were so large we all brought home containers. My only negative is that it's really loud in there. But that negates the great food and the great drinks. I'll definitely be back for more great times and great food.
