The lobster subs are great and the price can't be beat! I also loved the old country music they were playing when I stopped in. I was sad that they were closed when I tried to visit on Columbus Day, but I hope to get back to Calais for another great sandwich someday.

Fresh rolls and fresh ingredients... definitely a "must visit" lunch stop in beautiful Calais right near the border to Canada. We loved the nostalgic memorabilia in this place; they've actually got an ol' fashioned coin phone on the wall 😉👍

Saw a sign outside for lobster rolls, so I did a quick U-turn and went back and man, am I glad I did! The lobster was delicate, the bread was fresh and very soft, and altogether extremely delicious! Be warned, though, that it does come with onions, if you don't like them (forgot to ask). Still tasty, though!

Sandwich Man has been around since I came remember. Though times have changed the amazing sandwiches have not. The prices are well worth it and won't scare you away from ordering because it's too expensive .

I have been meaning to stop by next time I'm in Calais. Made my way across the border from St Stephen NB, on my way to Florida and pulled in for a sandwich for my long drive. I made up my mind to try the lobster roll. What a great surprise, the best in the area. I'm fairly picky, I will come back for more. BTW she is from Indonesia and he is local guy from Calais, what a cute couple.

The absolute Best Place for a sandwich! The bread is just right! All fresh ingredients, including fresh turkey right off the bird itself!! No matter who you are they treat you like family! Prices are right where they should be! Family owned an operated. You Will Never be disappointed here!!!!
