Nice dinner stop after shopping in Chinook mall. I really liked the Chicken Chorizo Pizza, but didn't enjoy the Wild Salmon Couscous as much.

I came here with my family & I ordered the “Crispy” chicken sandwich & the cilantro chicken tacos. The chicken on the sandwich was barely seasoned & dry. The bun kept falling apart & was hardly manageable to hold. & for the tacos, we could have made them at home for how basic they were. Beside all of this, our server was AWESOME!!!!! Nicest guy ever!!!!! He was always checking on us & constantly refilling our drinks.

This food is to die for. The music was relaxing, and the service was fantastic. The servers are genuine people. We enjoyed everything there. The starter, the meals, dessert and especially the drinks. I LOVE this place. I'm so glad I found it and I hope to become a regular.

How could I be in Calgary for a number of years and not know this little gem exists (it took a friend moving from one restaurant to this one for me to discover it - hi Gabriel)? Tried the Sunday brunch - an excellent choice. The chive biscuits and gravy, with chicken sausage, is an amazing spin on the old classic. The spinach, mushroom and tomato frittata is superb (and large). Even ran into an old friend who is also working here (hi, Christina). The service is very friendly also! Excellent choice for brunch when in Chinook Mall / Nordstrom.

This is in the Nordstrom store. Service was ok but staff seemed a bit like they were stressed. Did not seem busy at all. We sat at the bar and noticed it was quite messy. Stuff on bar side was all over and there were lots of dirty dishes right in front of our seats. Three staff members complained about customers right in front of us for some time and just let the dishes continue to pile up. The food was at best ok. Extremely over priced. Not worth the price or the experience.

Who would think there is an excellent fine dining option tucked inside Nordstrom? It is called Bazille and you won't be disappointed. It is definitely quality above quantity type restaurant. Service is amazing and efficient. We ordered couple of starters and 4 main courses followed by couple of desserts. Overall quality of food is impeccable and you can't go wrong with any menu item. We especially liked mango avocado salad. If you haven't been there, then it is definitely worth going there.

In all the years we ate at Bazille, the food has always been consistently delicious. There is enough variety to cover most people. Moreover, there is a kids menu for the little ones. The space is comfortable and spacious. Our go-to items include the lime shrimp salad and the Bazille burger. I like the club sandwich but the addition of green beans keep me from reordering. We also recently tried the salmon and it may be added to our favorite list here. Overall, it's a great option to consider for lunch and dinner.

A good food ending after shopping located on the second floor of the Nordstrom store. It was busy for a Friday dinner, we were greeted and seated quick. The service was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and attentive to the customers.
After ordering from the menu, we were given slices of baguette bread with olive oil and a variety of colored olives.
For starters, we ordered the Crab Bisque, and Peppered Steak Poutine. The crab bisque was a disappointment due to the fact that we cannot taste the crab flavor, but rather it was more sour than I was expecting. The seasoning is there, but it lacks the crab flavor I was anticipating. The peppered steak poutine overall was well seasoned, soft peppered steak bits, but it could use more gravy.
For the main meal, we got Roasted Salmon & Herbed Mushroom Risotto. The risotto was cooked just right with great seasoning, creamy with added soft texture from the cheese. It had a great synergy with the bitterness of herbs and earthy mushroom taste. The salmon on the other hand was bland and had no seasoning except for a lemon drizzle on top. It felt like the salmon was left out in the dish as the rest of the ingredients were well seasoned.
A side note to take is that the menu offers the number of calories per item menu for health conscience consumers which I think was a neat feature to add.
Overall, it was a good experience and I will come back again after shopping for good deals at the Chinook Mall. Perhaps I will try their desert menu.
