Anejo Restaurant

I love this place! Ive been multiple times and it never disappoints. They have some of the best table side guacamole in Calgary! It's so full of flavour and the chips are perfectly salted. This time instead of just ordering the regular tacos, we ordered the Birria Al Res and wow they were amazing!!! The consomme to dip them in was delicious, and the pickled onions, cilantro, onions, and the hot mayo on top made these to die for!!! Our server was the best as well!!! She knew we had a concert to get to, so she made sure to put our food order in right away and gave us fast service all night. We can't wait to come back again soon!

This is a restaurant with an amazing vibe and the food was super delicious with authentic mexican flavours... I highly recommend the ceviche, guacamole, carnita tacos, birria tacos and let's now forget the watermelon margarita, although I overheard people at the next table talking about how good the coconut margarita is at Anejo. You will be pleasantly surprise at the flavours... oh and make a reservation because this place gets packed.

I love Anejo ! I’ve been a couple times now and it’s great every time, the pork tacos are amazing and fully loaded up! The guacamole bowl is so fresh, I love that they mix it right in front of you! Super outgoing staff, very bubbly and enjoy making conversation! Mango margs and pork tacos are my top picks!

I rated this place five because of its service. The staff is friendly—a very decent Baja fish tacos (4/5). I also tried the Ceviche (3/5), which was good, but I will volunteer with the chef to improve the recipe. The place needs a more Mexican vibe but still is a great one. I will recommend this place and will come back.
