The mussels were the star of this dinner. The shrimp was well done but the sauce was a little sour. The octopus was a bit more sour than we expected as well and the cauliflower/kale dish was mouth puckeringly sour. The pasta was good, normally I'm not a gnocchi fan, but this one was nice and soft. Is it just me, or is the drink menu here extremely limited? Service was great, he was friendly and attentive and took the cauliflower off the bill.

Surprised to see an Italian family style dining restaurant in Calgary! The premise has the restaurant on one side and marketplace on the other. The tables in the restaurant are nicely spaced apart. There is a cooking pot right in the middle. Huge wine selection too. Overall food flavor is good and the ingredients are fresh. May be it was busy when I visited but some of the menu items could have been prepared better . The risotto was a bit undercooked. The mixed grill meat, particularly the chicken was overgrilled. Server very knowledgeable and friendly.

Delicious food. Ambience was great too and we got to watch the chefs in action since we sat at the bar. Ordered the linguine and tagiatelle, and the pastas were fresh and had an al dente bite to it. Best part of the meal in my opinion were the mussels (cozze) loved the sauce that they were cooked in! Only thing that was subpar were the brussel sprouts. Expected a little more crispiness to it. Such a lovely experience overall.

I was excited to try this place. We ordered 3 appetizer, 2 pastas and the octopus as a main. Everything I had was BLAND & crazy salty. I thought something might be off with my palette. Until I read all the similar reviews. Nothing tasted good. Just very average, basic I would say. Servers & service were fine. Unfortunately for the price, I will not be going back.

Always great service and delicious food. Ambience is quite loud and they don't offer boosters or high chairs despite seeing several families with kids. I also noted we would require one on our reservation but no one called to inform us they don't offer it. Should we have known, we would be more prepared. The gnocchi and mussels were excellent. I was really excited for the Bistecca but for some reason it was not as good as I remembered it. Still one of my fave restaurants though and I prefer this location because of easy parking.

Our meal was tasty but portions are huge and very expensive. It is a family-style menu intended to share, however for three of us the portions were way too big. Our waiter was excellent but seemed to be looking after too many tables so wait times in between were quite long. One of our dishes arrived at the table with a live ant in the pasta. The waiter apologized but it was not taken off our bill, despite the fact that we no longer wanted to eat the dish.

Amazing restaurant 😍 We are thrilled this place survived Covid after enduring no revenues for 2 years. In our opinion the restaurant is now better than it has ever been. Service was outstanding, food truly great and the facility is super spotless clean. Many Thanks and kudos to the owners. Great job and your success is well deserved 💕
