Schooners Pub

We got take-out in early August 2021. For anyone wanting to know about Covid precautions, not one person was seen wearing a mask here. Schooners is great if you’re looking for an informal, neighbourhood pub. We have been coming here on & off for nearly 10 years now; that’s how good & dependable the food is. I have so many favourites on their extensive menu, it’s hard choose just one. I would dare say they have the best onion rings in Calgary. The staff is always friendly & quick, and you can tell this place has many devoted regulars. We love the casual atmosphere and will continue to bring friends looking for a low-key night out with awesome pub food.

It was a warm evening during Stampede so the place was pretty empty. Even still the woman serving us really didn't want to be there she was quite surly, she got the order wrong although she did fix it. Didn't feel super clean but did seem to have some good promotions so I wonder if it'd be better outside of Stampede.
