Wok With Dave

Order for the first time last night, got the dinner for four and added Chow Mein. The Best Ginger Beef I have ever had, it wasn't sopping in sauce to make it all soggy! The sweet and sour pork was perfectly breaded and perfectly sauced as well. The Won Ton soup dumplings are incredibly tasty, could use a bit more broth though for Four people. Otherwise, all in all, excellent portions for the price you pay! Only downside is that they do not have their own delivery service, I ordered through SKIP. I would have much rather pay their in house driver. :)

Our usual place that we were lucky to discover moving here many years ago! As a family of 4, we order the meal for 3, deep fried wontons and an extra wonton soup. We get 2 good size meals out of it! The ginger beef is amazing along with the sweet and sour pork. Both are well sauced and very flavorful. The wontons are huge and meaty and the soup is full of them. Equally delicious deep fried! The dumplings are easily the best in the city!

We love Wok With Dave so much. Their ginger beer is hands down the best I've ever had. They went above and beyond on NYE to make sure we got the food we waited a bit too late to order, without over-promising, and I think there even stayed open late that night so we could get food. They've always been so kind and accommodating to us! The food is reasonably priced for huge portions, and it's always hot and fresh. I'm pretty sure it's just a mom and pop place, and they always seem grateful for our business. We don't go anywhere else now, despite there being 5-10 other Chinese food places within 10 minutes of our house.

Obviously, I ordered way too much food for two people, but let me tell you these will be leftovers that I am excited to eat the next day. Supporting local businesses during these difficult economic times is easy when the quality and flavour of the food being prepared is so high. Definitely try the ginger fried chicken (if you are like my friend and don't eat beef this is a great alternative). Everything was piping hot and ready when I walked in for my pickup. I will definitely go back again. Check out Wok With Dave - you will be glad that you did!

I recommend them. We order food from them regularly. The delivery is fast or if you go in for takeout it's even faster. The food is fresh, delicious and big portion. The price is just like another Chinese restaurant. Last time when I went to pick up my order I talked a little bit with the lady. She's the owner and she was very nice. The new online order system in their website is quick and easy to use .
