I ordered 3 carnitas tacos with everything for $2.50 each. I won't be going back because other places in Camarillo give you better portions for less money.
Only 1 taco was the size of a regular street taco. The other barely had enough meat on them for 2 bites. When they came to my table, the tacos were covered with red sauce/ salsa. That is all I could taste when I was eating them. It was like the carnitas was only there for texture and not flavor.
There are many other places to choose from in Camarillo to even consider going back here.

The sauce of the Torta was good but the bolillo traditional is “Salado” and unfortunately it’s hard to get that in the USA. I wish the Horchata was home made and not instant powder.

Great little spot for for decent Mexican food. Don't judge this place by the way it looks. Have a bite and the food speaks for itself.
Definitely try the chili Verde plate. Enough to share but you probably won't want to.

I am a very skeptical person when it comes to trying new restaurants. I'm happy to say I will be returning, such delicious food and great prices. I had a carnitas burrito and my bf an asada burrito. Both perfect and good flavor.
If your in Camarillo, looking for some bomb mexican food. I definitely recommend Taqueria Potrillos💯🙏

Bomb authentic tacos. Lots to choose from. Plus tons of other great food. Aguas frescas, bottled cokes and more. Be aware, the salsa is legit. It will grow hair on your chest. Definitely worth swinging by.
