Loved loved loved this place. What a fantastic little restaurant. Staff was wonderful the moment we were seated. Every cocktail to every appetizer, delicious. My companions didn't enjoy their French onion soup though. I got the salad instead, so I cannot comment. My scallops were great, every bite to the last. Highly recommend this restaurant to whoever is visiting. 10/10, would come back.

Longtime favorite Carlsbad restaurant. Classy and cozy atmosphere inside with fantastic patio seating as well. The gnocchi and scallops are the favorite dishes of all time! Service is 10 stars along with a spectacular wine list. Come her to find that rare bottle of Screaming Eagle or just sip some fine Angel's Envy Bourbon.

Great food and service! Only thing I would have to complain about is I wish they had a cocktail menu. This place is well known for their wine selection and they have many awards to back it up, I’m just not a wine guy 😅 Never the less, my fiancé and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything we ordered.

Be aware of the restaurant's policy when you make a reservation. You will be seated wherever there is a table available. Guests are not able to choose a window seat or a seat segregated on a back corner, or a booth versus a table, even if you call a week ahead of time. If you have health or handicap needs this is something to be aware of. Also, I highly recommend that you separate your bill ahead of time if you are dinning with a group of people and you only want to pay for what you consume. They will not separate items on any tab due to their system's "inability to split a bill" per our server. Excluding the above mentioned, the outdoor seating is lovely and the ambiance is elegant and beautiful. Most importantly, the food is delicious and the presentation alongside attention to detail for color was stunning for my review pictures. I got lucky with a window seat and I was very pleased with the service, but I chose to dine during off peak hours which makes a huge difference. I highly recommend this place. The restaurant needs a better system for both, splitting a big party tab and seating accommodations for handicap guests or special requests, which for a restaurant of this caliber, it is not a lot to ask. Hence, 3 out of 5 stars.
