Las Olas Mexican Restaurant

I was very disappointed in the food at this location. The chicken enchiladas barely had any filling and they were luke warm. It was extremely loud, the table wobbled really bad and it took quite awhile for our server to take our orders. I’ve been to their Cardiff location and the food is better at that location.

Great local Mexican cuisine! Happy hour options were short, but the essentials. Ricardo was a man of all trades! We got the nachos and two house margaritas. Then a Chile relleno carnitas burrito and grilled vegetable enchiladas. Good vegetarian options! Nice indoor/outdoor patio. I love their compostable and eco friendly to go containers!

A great spot for better than average Mexican fare.Their table salsa is very tasty and has a good spicy note. Always a good indicator for Mexican restaurants. We also loved the margaritas and cheesy crisp appetizer. The relax garden/ patio atmosphere makes a wonderful local for good food and visiting with friends.

This place has a nice tropical feel and I was recommended for their tacos. I went in and was greeted by friendly staff who directed me to bar for order to go! I got to bar and then it went downhill, I told the lady I had not been there and wanted the fish tacos and could I see a menu she pointed to a square and said scan it. I told her I didn't know how, she said you have the app and she just walked away. She came back with a smile and I ordered the two cod fried tacos and two mahi grilled tacos, came up to $28 bucks for 4 tacos! I was told 15 minutes, came back and she saw me and went to wait on tables and help others after quite a few minutes of no one asking me for help, feeling as if perhaps my money or color may not have been any good here, I actually had to ask for my food which had been sitting right beside her while she ignored me!!! Mind you, I tipped another $5 and put $3 more in tip bucket in support of restaurant. She turned she said here you go and walked away, I said thank you have a great day and then she turn and said oh yeah you too as an after thought lol. This my first and last visit to such a pretty place. Not interested in being fed or served based on my color or anything she chose today. Fish on tacos treated good but by the time we got home to try them outside tortillas were soft and soggy, not best but I am sure tasted hot. Total $35 value of food and customer service together $15. Not recommended bang for your buck.
