Mixed feelings here. First, I've been going to this location, for a couple of years now, but suddenly, having a group of 6 people doesn't meet their requirements to be allowed to have access to the larger corner booths they claim are reserved for groups of 7. WHAT???? Every time we were there, the restaurant was EMPTY so what's the problem to allow us to eat in comfort in these corner areas???? Customer Service/Satisfaction???? Second, some waiters and waitresses are very attentive and efficient but others are very slow and not so attentive. Third, condiments like ketchup bottles provided are obviously EMPTY when brought to the table having me to get someone to replace these with full ones while my food is getting cold. Response time here is also slow. Fourth, attentiveness of staff to refill drinks and waters,again, slow. Food and atmosphere are pretty consistent and good. Prices ate competitive. Just be aware and you decide to dine here not.

Does this look Medium Well to y'all?? The onion rings were so greasy. We were not happy today, at all. UPDATE I just updated my review to 4 stars because I called to let them know my food was not good today. The manager listened and was appreciative of my phone call. It's not about being negative here in reviews. It's about helping the places you really like. The manager never sent the gift card. Bummer!!

Ordered the Maui burger with turkey wrapped in lettuce. It was delicious, fresh, hot and did not take long to receive. The person that took my order provided excellent service both over the phone and in person. My only issue is with the two hostesses inside the restaurant both of whom completely ignored me when I entered the restaurant even though they were not assisting anyone after sitting in the previous family. The restaurant was not overly busy at the time.

Editing my review. Last night my wife and I stopped by for a second time to give Islands another shot. I really do love their food; some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. They are quite busy each time we’ve gone, and this time they were not too busy to give personal attention to us. The young woman on staff is probably one of the best waitresses we’ve had while eating out. She gave me and my wife everything we asked for, checked on us regularly, and we were out the door quickly like I prefer. I think I jumped the gun too quickly with my first review because really, since it’s the best burgers in town of course there’s gonna be times they’re overwhelmed and might miss the attentiveness sometimes. I also observed how staff treated other guests last night and they appeared to not only help in a timely professional manner but they also seemed to really love their job. I’ll be going back!
