Best fish and chips we’ve ever had on holiday!
The team at Cod House were incredible when we turned up asking for food for ten people near close! The fish is so tender and crispy, battered sausage and onion rings are amaxing and they even threw in a bottle of vinegar!
If you are looking for fish and chips in the area THIS is the place to go!

On holiday from London, I was told if you want a good cod & chips Cod House is the place to go. So I drove all the way from central Belfast and not only I wasn’t disappointed but also surprised how fresh and delicious the fish was. The stuff were welcoming & friendly too. Thumbs up, 100% recommended.

We are regular customers of the Cod House in Carrickfergus and the food is always outstanding.
Recently I tried the Christmas chip and it was excellent. My favourite is the chicken burger! Highly recommended! 👍

Great spot. We had our lunch here today £5 each for a tasty mixed box. All cooked perfect. We were waiting on getting our car fixed at a local garaged so asked if we could sit in and eat it. The lady was so lovely... Got us proper cutlery and extra salt and vinegar. Will definitely be back!

Just had dinner from the Cod House it was beautiful tried the haddock and hubby loved it more than his usual cod also the scallops are a must try will definitely be ordering again soon great friendly atmosphere staff are lovely give yourself a nite of the cooking head to the Cod House

Best fish and chips in Carrick, no question.
The mid week deals are very good value for money also. We frequently split the number one (sausage, fish bite, 2 onion ring, chicken goujon and chips) for lunch.
