Cute little bakery on Cannon St. in a residential neighborbood. Cider donuts were delicious and on a par with the ones I enjoy back home in Massachusetts. Highly recommend!

DELICIOUS CAKES!! We had three Sugar Bakeshop cakes at our wedding: the double chocolate, vanilla blueberry, and raspberry lemon. Our guests were raving about the cakes with many even going for seconds. Placing an advance order and day-of pick up was incredibly easy. Thank you!!

I came here to get cupcakes on my birthday with my husband. We grabbed the last few cupcakes to take home after an amazing dinner at Chasing Sage. We got the blueberry, grapefruit, lemon curd, and mocha cupcakes and they were all really lovely. I couldn't choose a favorite, they were all so perfectly moist with the optimal amount of frosting, a work of confection art.
I love their tiny shop, and the live kitchen behind the counter. I will be coming back again and again for any special occasion that require cupcakes.

Are you kidding me!!! The quality of the cupcakes and cookies is phenomenal. I thought I was in my grandmother's parlor. You would've be wise to find this beautiful place and stock up.

Came here via a recommendation and can’t wait to return. Tucked away on a precious residential street, this had such a solid selection of desserts. Mini coconut cream cupcake, lime sugar cookie 🍈, and the almond orange cookie 🍊 were our favorites. I love that there is a little hidden patio to enjoy

Went to Charleston for moms birthday. After reading reviews I decided to try Sugar. I was not disappointed. This shop gets 4 stars on the smell alone. The cake was so delicious I even froze the leftovers. Couldn’t bear to waste it. Super friendly staff. Worth every penny.

These are the best cupcakes I have ever had and I have had cupcakes from coast to coast and everywhere in between!! The chocolate cupcake was the ideal, moms homemade cupcake. We also had the lemon and the grapefruit and they were beyond delicious. Highly recommend.

We used sugar for our wedding cake and cupcakes and they were so wonderful to work with! Leading up to the wedding they answered all of our questions and helped decide how many were needed. The only thing I would plan for is they don't do delivery so plan accordingly for that. Regardless we are so happy with how everything turned out and would choose them to do our wedding desserts again in a heartbeat!!
