There is a saying “Don’t Judge Look by its cover” that’s true I would suggest you to go for Breakfast and Dinner. I have been eating Dinner here for past 4-5 Days Felt like eating Home food. Especially their Mini Tiffin Worthy for penny than others Hotels.

I had aapam and coconut milk.. It was delicious.. Then I had veg fried rice which had a huge quantity. But the taste remained amazing.. Even though it's a small shop, taste and quantity is awesome

Lunch was ok although I didn’t get my hands on mini meals and South Indian thali was just fine

Since 2008 I have known this hotel. During my college project days we used to have lunch at this hotel. The same setup. Self service. Very quick in giving food and healthy too. Over the years the price has increased which is understandable since the price of raw material has increased. But still an affordable price at this prime Adyar location. Both the owners husband and wife are hard working.

1. Very affordable pricing. Meals was just 70+ and was good for a normal day lunch. 2. Veg varieties. Found a lot of usually served veg food items and at low cost. 3. Found some Veg chinese items too on the menu. Dahi vada is good. 4. Self service counters. You can both stand or sit while eating. Cleanliness is acceptable but not great. Very attentive staff.

If someone want to taste original Tamil Nadu style food at relatively fair price this is the place. Idli, Vada, Pongal, dosa . Sambar and chutney all varieties are good and this is a self service place. The kitchen and food quality is clean and neat .
