Chittis Restaurant

They gave me room for my family when Chennai was badly hit by rain & floods this month (Dec 2023). My mother was sick & admitted in BSS Hospital and we had to stay nearby. Thanks to the General Manager. He was kind enough to somehow accommodate us. He was certainly service minded. I was so busy I couldn't even ask for his good name! The F&B team in the restaurant were really kind. The location is perfect. This hotel has lots of trees & hence, the entire place is cool.

Hotel is bit old place still preserve it's former glory. You can see things looks pretty outdated. Staff is friendly and attentive and room is very spacious and cleanly. Bed was very comfortable and a/c was ok and hotel provide really good wifi. Breakfast buffet consisted with Indian and continental options and staff was very attentive at the restaurant. The hotel situated in a really busy junction and it is not very easy accessible to malls or shopping areas nor metro. Hotel has its own restaurant and room service but as a foreigner I wanted to try food from local restaurants but not many favourable options around the area.

I stayed at the hotel for 45 days. As a foreign national from the drop off at the hotel till i took my leave after 45 days the Hotel and the staff served me very well. I was on business matters. Hotel staff is really good and they will help you with anything. They are very flexible too. My room and bathroom was cleaned everyday, they provided water bottles and changed linens and towels everyday. Breakfast was complimentary. They also have a really good ala cart menu and you can either order room service or can go to the restaurent and order anything you want. Food is good too. I use to order every kind of different item during my stay. Indian or chinese or american everything came out nicely. Compliments to the chef. During my stay i didnot use the pool as it was mostly used for kids and teaching and i also didnot have much time to spend in the pool. Breakfast is served at the restaurent till 10am. you will have varities such as idly,bread and jam, kichdi,poori,pongal, vadai, sambar and chutney along with cereals milk and juices. And you can also order omelettes and dosa over the counter for free. I thought i invented cheese dosa & cheese omelette which was my go to breakfast at the hotel along with other items in the buffet. I will come back for sure. Many thanks for all the support Hotel staff and specially restaurent staff..you guys served me well. Keep up the good work
