I like this eatery; seafood is fresh and the price is reasonable. I tried seer fish fry, someother fish fry and prawns. All were fresh and it shouldn't be considered as a great thing as we eat by the sea but still many restaurants sell old fish by the beach.

This shop is at the entrance of Marina Beach. First you've to take token for the food. After paying for the food you can give it to the people who's serving food The food available here is absolutely damn good, spicy and tasty. I recommend this shop for budget friendly seafood items and meals for those who are coming to Chennai . I really enjoyed the food. Hope you all will enjoy it if you try once. Parcel also available

Taste is very awesome! Why many people are posting negative comments i don't know. Yesterday i had fish meals which is Very worth and taste of tamarind is high And had Prawns fry (12-15pcs) for 150 which is ultimate! 🔥 Especially that masalas are very rich in Prawns will give rebirth to your Taste buds

There are lot of opinions regarding this place. But my personal context is, the flavour is complete south. Meals rate is very decent, the sides may feel a bit costly but not waste of money. This place may not be up to its hype but it is anyway a very good option. But beware the sandy wind in beach.

Fish meals-Rs 150…chicken meals Rs150..unlimited rice..worth for the amount..taste wise its perfect…if going for lunch..it will be hotter but provided with temporary shelter..it will be rush during the peak time…difficult to find a chair to sit…meat is fresh and tastier…

I also wanted to try this spot. Now, i had the chance to try Sundari Akka kadai🤌❤️ food was up to my expectations 😋 no disappointment❌ size of the prawns was big and had my stomach full💥💯 Must try Sea food🐟 🍤spot in Chennai.

Visited Sundari akka kadai after reading mixed reviews online. But I was surprised with the taste of their fish meals and their curry tastes awesome. Vanjaram fish fry is too pricey not worth trying it. Instead try AppuKutty fry which costs around Rs.100 this fish comes with a good amount of meat and tastes pretty decent. Fish meal is Rs.120 with two pieces of curry fish. Worth the visit if you don't mind about the ambiance and service.

It was surprise visiting this shop, when I went there I was at zero expectation about the food as it was my first visit there. Ordered 1 prawns, Vanjaram ( King fish ), rice ( with fish gravy on top & 1 boiled egg ) .
Got fresh fish and prawns. It was literally amazing. Good quality and reasonable rate also

Rice - Rs.60
Was very happy to try.
Prawns was on another level ( got directly from the hot pan ) same for the fish also
Both are must try.
