Brand new into Chicago and still lagging from the flight I stepped into Giordano's, intending to place a to-go order. The atmosphere was so inviting I had to investigate. Amidst the perfect amount of light falling on squeaky clean surfaces, I took a comfortable seat at the spacious bar located in the center of the tornado of mouth watering smells. Steven promptly took my order and was attentive but not annoying as I enjoyed my I.P.A. and awaited the best deep dish pizza I have had (at that point). The service was A+, as was the entire experience.

Ate here back in 1999 when I visited Chicago while studying in Indianapolis. It was near our hotel so we just went in.
I still remember that double deck giant pizza :) first time ever seen such a big pizza. Unforgettable experience at those good old days :)
Glad the shop is still open. If I ever come again to the US and Chicago I will definitely visit you again.
Keep up!

I ate at Giordano’s for the first time on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023. When we (I went with a work colleague) walked inside the restaurant we were given a 20-minute wait for our table. However, much to our pleasant surprise, the wait was only about 5 minutes. Even though the wait was short, we still had time to order ahead. Once we got to our table, the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even though I just ordered water, they kept my glass full and were pleasant.
Even though we did order ahead, it took about 50 minutes from the time we sat down to get our deep dish pizzas. We both ordered the smallest size as I opted for the pesto chicken. I found my pie to be pretty good. What stood out to me was that the crust had a slightly sweet taste to it that I enjoyed.
I believe I paid approximately $15 for my pizza. I would say the value is decent. A deep dish pizza is definitely a novelty item and we were in the heart of downtown Chicago so I thought the price was just about right. I would return. 🍕

Went while visiting the area for a conference. Hard part is parking in downtown Chicago. But if you’re able to park in the street or find a lot or garage, this place is worth it. We went on a Saturday night and they were just the right kind of busy. Not a huge dining room but people were constantly coming in and going. Wait staff did a great job for all of the people.
Food was delicious. We ordered a sampler appetizer with a little bit of everything. All tasted great. Also ordered a thin crust veggie pizza and a deep dish Chicago (I believe that was the kind of pizza which included pepperoni, peppers and onions). Sauce had a good flavor.
Be prepared for cooking times if you go because deep dish takes a little longer than other types of pies. But if you have the time, it’s a great place to eat!

Went this this place on a Saturday night and the place was packed! The pizza was good—fillings were spot on. The crust was something else though, not too bready and with just the right amount of flakiness. It was not soggy and complimented everything perfectly. Wait time was approximately 40 mins with another 45 mins in line.

Super delicious! We ordered a Medium deep dish for 3 people and 2 slices were left over!
Didn't really like the wait time... but it was worth it in the end for sure!

My 1st Chicago style pizza. It didn't disappoint. Very cheesy, delicious sauce, and the chicken sausage was delightful. Now I am going to try the competitor to see which one I like better. I will definitely have this place again.

First time trying deep dish pizza, I was skeptical to begin with as I was under notion that It would be too much sauce or too much bread, however I am glad that I was proven wrong, thanks for Chicago Cops that recommended this place, place was packed but I loved the organization where you line up to put your name on the waitlist and can even pre-order your food so it shows up once you are seated. 10-15 minute wait was so worth it and the pizza was chef's kiss, I am a fan of Deep Dish Pizza provided its from Giordano's I am looking forward to visiting them again next time I am in Chicago.

We ate at the Giordano's location on Michigan Avenue today as we couldn't cross the street to go to the restaurant originally booked weeks in advance due to all of the Chicago Marathon traffic blocking us. The best was made out of an unfortunate situation, and we had some awesome, Chicago-style deep dish pizza instead. This location is definitely less crowded than the original Giordano's on N Rush St. The pizza was as great as ever!

Ahhh how I love Giordano's Chicago Classic Deep Dish: a vertical goodness of magical stuffed crust pizza. The cheese pull, the crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside dough, the saucy sauce, fluffy layers but yet dense enough to defy gravity. Best deep dish pizza I have ever tasted. Thanks for the memories Giordano's...'Till we meet again!
